Ingredients
- 1 lb potatoes
- 2 tsp unsalted butter
- ¼ cup non-fat buttermilk
- ¼ cup 2% milk
- 1 teaspoon Doc’s Salt Free Hot Sauce
- Fresh ground pepper.
Boil 3 quarts of water in a large pot over high heat
Quarter the potatoes and add to the pot. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat until the water is simmering.
Cook the potatoes about 15-20 minutes until slightly soft in the middle
Remove from heat and drain the water. Add butter, buttermilk, milk, and Doc’s Salt Free Hot sauce. Mash the potatoes until you achieve desired consistency. Add pepper (and perhaps more hot sauce!) to taste.
